About
Marisa Helen is a licensed architect practicing in San Francisco and San Diego with a focus on creating meaningful spaces that feel both timeless and deeply personal.
With over a decade of experience in architecture, Marisa holds a Historic Preservation certificate from the University of Miami. At Miami, she developed an appreciation for preserving the character and history of a place while allowing it to evolve in a contemporary way.
For Marisa, design is an expression, a unique reflection of how we experience the world. Architecture offers an opportunity to evoke the character of a place, the rhythms of everyday life, and the individuality of those who inhabit it.
The intention of her work is to create spaces that feel rooted in their place, shaped by the people who dwell within them and given meaning throughout time.
Marisa feels architecture should be enjoyed by everyone. Thoughtful design has the ability to create a sense of belonging and enhance the community around it. Good design is for all.
